Al Jouf Second International Agricultural Forum
Al-Jouf Second International Agricultural Forum was held from November 27th to 29th with the aim of contributing to the development of the agricultural sector, enhancing food security, and supporting the strategic development of the Al-Jouf region. The forum provided a platform for exchanging experiences and sharing global agricultural practices. The number of booths participating in this second edition increased to 50, compared to 43 in the first edition. Government sectors, private companies, producers, experts, and individuals with an interest in agriculture participated in the event.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in collaboration with the Al-Jouf region’s Municipality. It was held at the Al-Jouf Cultural Center in Sakaka, featuring a companion exhibition, awareness corners, and dedicated sections for home-based businesses. In addition, there were specialized booths and exhibitions showcasing agricultural technologies and modern products.
The Saudi AgriFood Tech Alliance also presented an introduction to the Alliance and its role in promoting sustainability in the Kingdom. The Acting Director of the Alliance, Mr. Mark Hull, participated in a lively discussion about the Alliance’s current role, future plans, and the importance of membership in the Alliance.
As a token of appreciation, the organizers of the forum presented a commemorative trophy to the Alliance in recognition of its efforts. Mr. Mark Hull, the official representative of the Alliance, received the trophy on behalf of the organization.
