Saudi Agriculture Week Exhibition

The Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2024, held from October 21 to 24 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, marked its 41st edition as the premier B2B event for the agriculture sector in the Middle East. The exhibition showcased cutting-edge technologies, solutions, and innovations, attracting over 370 exhibitors from 29 countries and more than 27,000 visitors.

The Saudi AgriFood Tech Alliance (SAFTA) actively participated in this significant event, hosting a dedicated booth to introduce its mission and initiatives to the agricultural community. Launched in July 2024 under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA), SAFTA brings together national and international members, including government bodies, research institutions, academia, private sector companies, and non-profits, to advance agricultural and food technology solutions in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout the exhibition, the SAFTA secretariat team engaged in numerous one-on-one discussions with interested organizations and individuals. These interactions provided valuable opportunities to explore potential collaborations, share insights on innovative AgriFood technologies, and discuss strategies for driving national-scale deployment of these solutions.

SAFTA's presence at the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2024 underscored its commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the Kingdom's agricultural sector, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals of achieving food security and sustainable agricultural development.
